Charlie Sarmiento, Guatemalan ultramarathon runner, achieved a new feat, ran the 240 kilometers of The Coastal Challenge and dedicated the competition to his family.

«Let no one ever stop you, even if we crazy are few! 💪🏻240 kms in 6 days!!”, Sarmiento wrote on his Instagram account.

The national athlete, who is also a personal motivator, finished this race of 6 stages and 240 kilometers of the competition that took place in the jungles of Costa Rica, in 35 hours, 19 minutes and 32 seconds.

The Coastal Challenge is at the top of ultramarathon races around the world.

Charlie dedicated the stages of the competition to his loved ones.

The first was dedicated to his mother, the second to his sister Karla Beatriz Sarmiento, the third was for his wife.
The fourth for was for her daughter Valeria, the fifth for Katia, the sixth for her son Martín and the medal for the youngest of the Anika family.
