The Architect
I design and build businesses: strategy, M&A and international expansion, from thesis to operating company. I hold an M.B.A. from INCAE Business School and a degree in Business Administration and Finance from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, and eighteen years of executive leadership across multinationals, corporate finance, business models, go-to-market and high-performance teams.
The Athlete
Before endurance I played for Guatemala's youth national teams: seven years as shortstop in baseball and two years as center forward in the U17 soccer team. In 2015 I took up ultra trail running to fight my way out of depression. I finished 102nd in the 2017 Ultra-Trail World Tour men's ranking and 138th among men at the 2018 Trail World Championship. In 2023 I moved into extreme triathlon and reached the top 20 of 2,200 on the Xtri World Tour ranking.

“Charlie served as a corporate executive for the businesses I lead for over five years, performing at his best capacity in the complex business projects he was assigned, executing with professionalism, discipline and integrity. He has also represented our sports brands as an athlete. We chose him for our athlete portfolio because of the impact he has on other people to dream big.”

“The first day I met Charlie, he was one of the best and most unique talents I have come across in my professional and personal career. He has somehow been able to seamlessly combine being a pro athlete, a corporate executive and a sports entrepreneur. In the time I have known him he has been goal-oriented, always looking for the best possible way to get things done, always achieving results, and creating great community around him.”
